    GR sub review

Now that you mentioned it, I notice the same thing with my sealed Tempest that I can locate it when it's playing. 2 of my friend came over to visit at different times, both says they can hear the sub playing from the corner. Maybe it's the placement thing?

Questions about using the correct wire?

I personaly use 12 gauge wire for internals and xover myself. Any 12awg from Homedepot or Ratshack would do. Since you only need a short length why not go for 12awg. I use the solder from Ratshack. The one that says silver core for fine electronics. I'm no pro, but heard good things about...

Speaker cable 14 gauge for 50ft run.

It's in a tube. It's actually the same model as the ones Blue-Jeans cables are selling except this one is 14awg instead of 12awg BJ are selling. There is a 12awg shielded version for $.21/ft. Maybe I"ll just get that instead.

    Sub for 70/30 Movies Music

Tempest sealed mid-Q. My understanding is that PR are not great for music due to slow excursion/response time or something to that nature. (I'm no expert, just trying to remember what I've read when I did my research a year back)
