I guess a more basic question would be whether or not I need a receiver with TrueHD? Could I spend 250 on a good quality receiver? what needs to be included with it to meet todays standards? Im looking at onkyo and sony in those price ranges.

i was reading from one of the posts here, and the person who wrote it said to stay away from twist ties. why? will this cause a problem when organizing the mess behind the TV?

what effect will that have? if there wont be any disturbances on the signal, then ill leave it alone the way it is. the wire coating is fairly thick.

will this damage the receiver? is it ok to leave it on over night if nothing is running through it at the time?

Just wondering if it is ok to run speaker wire between the housing of the heater vent and the floor? Will it cause any disturbances in signal or affect the integrity of the wire?
