All are good ideas. Am working on getting installer to let me trial projector. Think he is pushing Epson 9500UB. All reviews look good so I think I'll give it a shot.

Thanks for the replies. We have a nice flat screen in our living room. Basement would be more for football games (many of which take place during daylight hours) and kids to watch movies with their friends. Main fear in putting projector in there is that it would look bad during Sunday...
