I just bought the Onkyo SP-800 and it has the stnadard optical out and coxial out. What should I connect to my integra receiver since it accepts both? What is better in quality or is there a difference?

I called Oade this morning and ordered one.. as the combo of sacd and dvd-audio is a major plus. I am not that picky when it comes to video.. as long as its good to great its ok by me.. I don't expect it to be impeccable. Received a lot of good opinions as usual and I thank you. ;) ;)

My SVS sub has a stereo RCA inputs on the amp, the receiver has a sub preout that is mono/one channel. My question is that do i just buy the mono sub cable then hook it to the left or right channel on the sub or do I need to buy a 2 to 1 adapter? thanks :frowning:

I have 8 gauge twisted pair speaker wire comming for my fronts and center. Is this too large or would that be ok? What is recommended sizes for fronts/center and rears?
