Also happy to report, my 4K Harry Potter movies that froze did not freeze on my newer Sony player. I finally tested the ones that froze and everything is fine. I guess the older the player the worse it will get. It was never the UHD discs! Anyway I was thrilled they didn't freeze !

I hope somebody releases this movie and Ladies in Retirement on Blu-ray, a couple of favorite Sony classics of mine :)

If they do a contemporary movie, Id love The First Deadly Sin with Frank Sinatra !

It should be soon at any rate, it even could be next week since it will still be May .. I just hope its a good month for all of us !

Film Masters is going to be releasing Night of the Blood Beast this year so I will wait for that one ,despite the cool sleeve art for this offering!!

Bigger wants for me now Side Street, Mystery Street, Invisible Stripes ( along with some more titles where the DVDs have been reported as freezing up, as even Mr. Return of Dr X froze up awhile back too. City for Conquest, San Quentin, Kid Galahad ( 1937) would also be welcome. :)

Happy to report the rest of the Warner DVDs I viewed after Invisible Stripes still play fine :) I watched Lady Killer, Black Legion, The Amazing Dr. Clitterhouse, East Side, West Side and Born to Kill. They all played and had my own Warner at the Movies day ! :D I am probably going to continue...

I pre-ordered on Kino's site along with the Sci-Fi classics collection, they should be going out soon, I cannot wait !

I do stream some movies, and also record TCM movies of interest ( thank God I have TCM again !! :) )

I 100% complete agree ! That's the other reason I am reluctant to buy another DVD. I did see an Italian DVD relatively cheap but who knows, maybe it is in queue for a Blu-ray. Now Im watching more Warner DVDs to make sure they still play. At the very least I will be entertained by some great...

My DVD of Invisible Stripes just bit the dust... and its not available from WAC as an MOD release. Id like to buy it again but who knows, maybe another one I get will not also play, UGH :(

I think it's a great sci-fi classic. It's one of my most wanted titles on Blu-ray as all the DVDs are yucky. I have the CheezyFlicks non-anamorphic DVD. It is a real shame that this has yet to get a decent DVD or Blu-ray release. I really hope some label will license it!

He wanted a lot of money for Triffids which is why nobody went for the dangling fish on the pole unfortunately. I really hope someone will release the film in his memory someday

I also thought maybe Killers from Space for a 4th title. It is a terrible movie even by my standards. I dont even own that one, or The Unearthly...anyway Id still get the movies in a set that had the two MGM titles :D

I used to own that DVD box set until half the movies froze up and wound up having to get the Warner Archive MOD releases.

Seems like Creature Features receives good feedback for his products, he has a lot ! Not really many complaints so he seems to know what he is doing , it can't be all that bad

I wouldn't buy them without the subs. These are meant for the Japanese audience and those around the world who understand Japanese and do not need the subs. I still feel like Criterion has them and on any given month they could do a set of non Godzilla Kaiju movies. Or they can do the whole run...

Macao is available via WAC a DVDr in case the movie isnt in the Blu-ray cards. I replaced a bunch for DVDr and they all play fine. Official DVDr movies from a studio like Warner I don't really mind because at least the image quality is still excellent and they dont freeze up. :)

Whenever Act of Violence is released I would want Mystery Street too so I can retire the DVD as they were paired together. Pretty much why I am not into double features these days. I still have the DVD of Side Street which was part of a Farley Granger double feature with They Live by Night. Hey...
