I used to own the 2-disc remastered LD back in the 90s. The colors were flawless. I’m not sure what happened to the print being used for home video distribution between then and now, but the colors were somehow changed to make everything much more yellow.
Watching this now. Purchased when it first came out, but somehow never got around to watching it. Beautiful B&W image. As for the film itself, absolutely love it. The Cleggs were probably my favorite band of wrong-doing family members on film. And Ben Johnson, Ward Bond and Harry Carey Jr...
