The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in…as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don’t get paid for this, and I don’t have the time to list every DVD. So, please don’t complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Pretty much a ho-hum week of new releases. But that’s the beauty of a subjective medium like film. One man’s “ho-hum” might be another man’s treasure!” :D

While I hope there’s something for you, I won’t hold my breath. Let us know.

And as always, safe shopping, RoundUppers! :D

I'll be buying Cause for Alarm in spite of her. However, between Young and Allyson, Allyson wins hands down. I must add that pet peeves are very limiting, so I buy and watch according to the quality of the production, and I don't allow personal taste on actors to bar me from watching good films.
For instance, I just received My Man Godfrey's remake with Allyson. Watching it will be an exercise in masochism.

I don't know, I watched Platinum Blonde again on TCM and IMO, Young was more attractive than Jean Harlow in that film.

Wait a second - the Weekly Roundup has been going on for TWENTY YEARS? How is that even possible? Just mind boggling - Mike gets a pension now right? Maybe a gold DVD (instead of a watch)?

Thank you, Mike! :)

Why are things like Molly's Game and The Edge of Seventeen being re-released? They already have existing releases.

20 years later and still not on the Best Buy weekly ad mailing list...
You've got quite the memory there, Jeff! :D

THAT THREAD only debuted nearly 22 years ago! It's sad how irrelevant Best Buy has become in my personal shopping experience (although I did get my current display from them). I recently walked through their local store and hardly recognized the place.
