VIZIO introduces 2023 M-Series sound bars

VIZIO has unveiled the 2023 M-Series audio collection with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support across the line-up. The new models consist of the M-Series Elevate 5.1.2 immersive sound bar ($800) and more budget-conscious All-In-One ($200), both available this month.

“Whether playing your favorite game or streaming the latest blockbuster release from one of the many services supporting immersive audio, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X pull you into your world of entertainment,” says Todd Baker, director of product management for audio at VIZIO. “Our new M-Series bars were built around the premise that immersive audio can and should be accessible to everyone, from simple all-in-one solutions to the awesome new M-Series Elevate.”

VIZIO M-Series Elevate 5.1.2 Immersive Sound Bar

The design-conscious 5.1.2 sound bar won the CES innovation award earlier this year. It includes adaptive height speakers with end discs which light up when activated. When Dolby Atmos or DTS:X sources are detected, the speakers rotate upwards automatically. As well as 13 onboard speakers and a wireless subwoofer (down to 45Hz), the Elevate set with charcoal fabric exterior includes two low-profile surround speakers. HDMI eARC, Bluetooth 5.0, 4K Dolby Vision pass-through and voice assistant compatibility round out the features on the premium sound bar.

The M-Series All-In-One is a 2.1 sound bar which can also accommodate immersive audio sources. With 98dB of output, the slimline model sports dual built-in subwoofers with a claimed response down to 50Hz. HDMI eARC, 4K Dolby Vision passthrough, and voice assistant input are also available from this cheaper model. Both of the new sound bars can be paired with VIZIO TVs for integrated control via the display’s remote. For more information, visit VIZIO.
