French manufacturer Devialet has introduced the Dione all-in-one Dolby Atmos 5.1.2 soundbar available later this month for $2,400. The company says the luxury soundbar has an uncompromised “size-to-performance ratio” and sound quality promising a “new standard” in a single high-end device.
The Dione combines seventeen drivers to deliver deep bass, a dynamic midrange, and clear treble response. Audio clarity is enabled care of a proprietary ADH amplification tech with eight built-in SAM-powered subwoofers negating the need for separate subwoofers, according to the company. As well as Dolby Atmos immersive audio, an onboard SPACE algorithm upscales any signal to 5.1.2 sound fields. A dialog enhancement feature is complemented by Devialet’s own ADE in-room calibration system to optimize audio in a given room.
