The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in…as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don’t get paid for this, and I don’t have the time to list every DVD. So, please don’t complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Hey RoundUppers!

It's the week of the big Infinity War release. And, of course, the Amazon/Disney throwdown continues.

Otherwise an eclectic mix of other new releases and some deep catalog.

Hope y'all find something you like. Nothin' for me this week.

Thanks as always, Mike.

Just Infinity War for me. I'd like to get the Target exclusive UHD release, but the online preorders are sold out, I'm in northern Vermont for the week, and there don't seem to be any Targets in Vermont. So probably just the regular UHD release from Best Buy for me.

I own the first five seasons of "Arrow" on Blu-ray, but the sixth season was so bad I never want to see it again.

Thanks, Mike!

I plan to use some of my Amazon "digital credits" to rent Avengers: Infinity War and wait for the price on the UHD disc to come down -- I haven't seen the film yet. Cat O' Nine Tails interests me a little, as I'm a big Argento fan. However, this is one of my less favorites of his, so I think I'll be satisfied with my current Blue Underground BD instead of paying the inflated price for Arrow's new release.

I'm waiting for a Warner Archive sale, so holding off to save up for that.

Stupid question, I hope someone can help me: is this the first time the first 2 Avengers movies have been issued in 4K UHD? I ask because I know I own them, but I don't know if I've already re-purchased them in 4K or not (my discs are kind of strewn all over the place right now...yes I need to tidy up...)

Thanks!

Yes.

I'll be getting Infinity War this week. It really should be less than $22.99 for the Blu-ray, but I'll get it anyway. Thanks, Mike!

Thanks Jake! I just didn't want to discover later on that I dupe-purchased the first two Avengers movies on 4K...

Sure. Understandable. But yes, these are the first Marvel catalog titles to be released on 4K. The others are Guardians 2, Homecoming, Ragnarok and Black Panther, which all came out simultaneously with their regular Blu-rays. So aside from those four titles, anything you have in your Marvel collection right now is Blu-ray or DVD. Presumably the other catalog titles will follow at some point down the line.

Why not future proof and get the 4K version (which includes the Blu) for just $5 more? Plus you get a 4K digital copy.

Good question. I thought about this last year with Guardians Vol. 2, and if I thought I was going to go 4K, I would, but then I realized that given my present situation, the likelihood of upgrading to 4K is so remote that I' d be throwing money away by doing that. I'm the only person in my household who even cares about Blu-ray as opposed to a DVD. So, no one else is going to want to go 4K in the near future, and I don't have enough money to upgrade equipment on my own. So I don't think we will be going 4K anytime soon. I'd love to be wrong. But I doubt it.

Target has 10% off Avengers Infinity War through the Cartwheel App

I went to the Cartwheel site and put this in my saved offers, but it says total saved is $0.00, and when I went to print a coupon at "checkout," Infinity War didn't show up.

Has anyone else been able to get this to work via the website? I want to take a printout coupon to the store tomorrow. I don't have a smartphone.

Haven't done it in a while, but I've used a printout almost 100% of the time I've done any Cartwheels.
I just looked at my Web-page with the Checkout/ Print Cartwheel Barcode & Coupons and Infintiy War 10% shows up on the printout
