The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in…as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don’t get paid for this, and I don’t have the time to list every DVD. So, please don’t complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

The Specials

–Another week of Twilight Time releases.  You know the drill.  They can only be pre-ordered HERE and HERE.

–No Sunday flyer from Best Buy in my local paper this week.

–Best Buy’s Weekly Ad is available at THIS LINK.

–Target this week is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter.  Included in the event is the sale of four two-film collections on Blu-ray (Years 1&2, 3&4, 5&6 and 7) for $15.99 apiece.  The Year 7 collection includes an EXCLUSIVE “patch.”  Selection varies by store.

–Target is also advertising the Blu-ray combo pack of A Quiet Place for $19.99 this week.

I cannot view the round-up in Chrome. I just get the same blank screen as with the home page.

But I know Rampage is out this week. The 3D blu is on its way.

I can see it OK on Firefox on my desktop.

What are the asterisks on the Target prices for Rampage 3D and DVD?

Thanks for the RoundUp! I can see it fine on Edge/Win 10.

Pretty much a blank week for me, but I have gotten in so many discs over the past few weeks that I have STACKS of things to watch. Glad to have a breather on the purchasing end.

Looks fine on Firefox and Win10, Mike. Thanks for the Round Up.

I have The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean on pre-order, and may pick up Irma La Douce eventually during a future Kino Lorber sale. I'm watching The Expanse right now on Amazon Prime (I'm on Season 2), and it's pretty good, but I don't need to own the discs.

I haven't been keeping up with the what's and wherefores of releases, but what's up with Sneaky Pete and The Good Place coming out as DVD only? Does anyone know if they are coming out as BR? Is it becoming common to release the formats on different weeks?

Going to B&N this week for sex, lies and videotape (as well as the Deitrich/von Sterberg box). I missed Isle of Dogs in the theater; I'll buy it, but maybe not til it goes down a little.

Thank you, Mike! It works for me in Firefox on Mac.

I'd love to get Isle of Dogs this week, but I've spent a lot on CDs over the past few weeks so it will have to wait for a bit. Hopefully not too long because it's a terrific movie and I'm anxious to see it again.

Disobedience was also great, with career high performances from Rachels Weisz and McAdams. I'd highly recommend it as a rental for those interested, but I'm not sure how much replay value it would have.

Blank on Win 10 Chrome.
Works on Win 10 Edge.

Rampage on Vudu Disk + digital for me. I'll snag Isle of Dogs down the road. It was fine in theaters but not the rousing success I had hoped for.

What are the asterisks on the Target prices for Rampage 3D and DVD?

I meant to note that those prices came from Target.com and not the Sunday flyer. I don't usually cull prices from the BB.com and target.com...but those couple of prices happened to fall in my lap. But I cannot guarantee those titles will be in the brick & mortar stores.
