The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in…as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don’t get paid for this, and I don’t have the time to list every DVD. So, please don’t complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

The Specials

–Not Sunday flyer available today for Best Buy.  I looked all about…but I couldn’t find one.  The couple prices in the grid are from the internet.

–Best Buy Odds and Ends:  None to report.

–Target this week is advertising pre-orders of two upcoming releases.  Pre-order The Fate of the Furious at Target.com/preorder and get a FREE $5 Target Giftcard.  Also, pre-order Cars 3 at Target and get an EXCLUSIVE 32-page storybook.  Target also will have a flyer coupon for a FREE $10 Target Giftcard with a purchase of $50 or more of Cars merchandise.

–The following recent releases are on sale this week at Target (all Blu-ray unless otherwise noted):

$19.99:  Logan, John Wick 2, Bambi (DVD)

$22.99:  Fifty Shades Darker, Get Out

$24.99:  LEGO Batman Movie

–Select Pixar movies are on sale at Target this week.  The Blu of Cars is shown @ $20 and DVDs of Finding Nemo, Finding Dory and Inside Out are shown @ $15.

–Target Odds and Ends: Some Dreamworks DVDs are on sale.

Helloooooooooooooo, RoundUppers!

This is one of the lightest weeks of new releases in quite a long time.

Safe shopping!

And thanks, in advance, for any "likes" of the OP. They are always noticed and always appreciated!

No Best Buy flyer this week...but, in the long run, not a big deal I don't think. If I get some information later one, I'll be back to update things.

Thanks for your work, Mike.

Nothing for me this week. I haven't seen Joe Versus the Volcano since VHS, and would be curious to see it again but don't feel the need to buy it right now. After Beauty and the Beast and Lego Batman the last two weeks -- plus a couple other catalog title orders on the way -- I'm perfectly happy not to get anything new this week.

Thanks for the RoundUp, Mike. Nice to have a fairly slow week once in awhile.

Still waiting on last week's Twilight Time releases to show up for review. Otherwise, a pretty quiet week.

Nothing this week, which is good because I spent a lot on Twilight Time movies these past two weeks.

Curious about "Life". By the way, anyone not own a 4k TV, buying UHD disc now? Some sort of future-proofing?

Count me among that group, John.

I've got a 4k player (Oppo 203), a 4k Receiver (Denon X2000)...but "only" a Panasonic Plasma P55ST50 display.

And I've been buying a LOT of new releases in 4k UHD...figuring that someday I'll need to buy a new TV and, for sure, it'll be a decent 4k display. Some of the titles that jump to mind are La La Land, Hacksaw Ridge, The Magnificent Seven, The Shallows, Arrival, The Accountant and Planet Earth II.

Are you doing same?

Just started buying UHD disc. Got Logan and John Wick Chapter 2. I have no 4K equipment as of yet.

But it makes sense, right?!

And it's especially easy since there is almost always a Blu-ray included in the package.

I say "almost always" because that wasn't the case with the US release of Planet Earth II. But there IS with the UK version!

:D

I saw "Wilson" from Fox on the BD list and wondered how I could miss such a major announcement and followed the link to the Amazon listing and found the joke was on me Our President will have to make his BD debut.

Thanks as always for the Round-Up Mike!

Me- - I check the reviews here to make sure if the upgrade is worth it.
Typically there's a $5 difference around release day or shortly after.
I just bought a Phillips 4K UHD on clearance at Target for $75.00 it does have a feature that interpolates 4k to 1080p (I checked online they still have at $239.XX Wal*Mart as the newer model for about the same price).I don't plan to use the feature much as most of the UHD packages have at least one standard bluray with them.

I thought it was Fox's movie about the 28th President as well :(
Or at least that Tom Hanks former co-star

had been given a movie of his own ..;)

I'll probably rent Life. My some discussions of Alien: Covenant it has come up in a positive manner. I had NO interest in seeing it in the theater based on the trailers I must've seen a hundred times.

I will pick up Ten Little Indians. It's just a matter of when.

Nothing on the movie front for a couple weeks, though I have a book preordered for tomorrow.

I didn't get to Life in the theater...guess I'll Redox it when we get home form vacation. I don't see any need or reason to actually own it.

Thanks, as always, Mike!
