The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in…as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don’t get paid for this, and I don’t have the time to list every DVD. So, please don’t complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

The Specials

–Best Buy, this week, has EXCLUSIVE STEELBOOK PACKAGING with their 4k/UHD copies of Captain Marvel.  The price is $34.99 ($5 higher than the standard release).

Another big RoundUp week--quantity-wise!

Hope y'all find something of interest to you.

My curiosity is piqued by the descriptions I've read of the film The Mustang. So I may pick that up sometime. Definitely Swing Time.

Safe shopping, RoundUppers! And thanks for your support each week.

Thank you, Mike!

I'll be getting the standard Blu-ray of Captain Marvel from a store next week, and Mean Girls is on the way from Amazon.

The Mustang was a great movie in theaters and I would highly recommend it as a rental to anyone who missed it. I don't need to buy it for $22.99 though in such a crowded week. Maybe after a price drop.

Got Captain Marvel 4k coming from the Disney Movie Club with all three Toy Story 4k's. My breakdown with tax is about $23 per title and I'm happy with that.

Thanks Mike!

Is there any reason to pickup the Mean Girls Anniversary Edition if I already have the original Blu ray

Do you anticipate never going 4K Jake? I ask because if you do, why not future proof?

Good question. Ideally, I would like to, but my family who I live with doesn't care about things like that. They would be fine watching something at DVD quality to be honest. The chance of us going 4K feels remote, so for the time being it doesn't really make sense to me to future-proof every title.

If they don't care about the quality, then they shouldn't care that it's at its highest quality. Since it doesn't matter to them, why not upgrade?

That's his business as I try not to question other people how they spend their monies.

I haven't been able to find a press release on this, but I ordered it it since I do not have the original Blu-ray, which has been out of print for a while. I think it's weird that they didn't issue a press release, but I can post what's on it when I get it. It should be delivered sometime tomorrow.

Like I said, for right now we are good with what we have.

On another note, Mean Girls just arrived from Amazon. There's a sticker on the front that says "Celebrating 15 Years of Mean Girls" but otherwise nothing on the actual packaging refers to it as an Anniversary Edition.

The bonus features are:

- Commentary by director Mark Waters, screenwriter/actress Tina Fey, and producer Lorne Michaels
- Featurettes: "Only the Strong Survive," "The Politics of Girl World" and "Plastic Fashion"
- Word Vomit (Blooper Reel)
- "So Fetch" Deleted Scenes with optional commentary by Waters and Fey
- Interstitials: "Frenemies," "New Girl" and "PSA"
- Theatrical Trailer

Since I don't have the previous Blu-ray, I can't tell how this compares to it.

It does not include a digital copy code. The case includes a paper insert which advertises the Mean Girls Broadway musical, but there's nothing about it on the disc. I think this is a missed opportunity to include some sort of behind-the-scenes footage or something to promote the show.

In a distinctive touch, the keepcase itself is pink.

@24fpsNinja @Todd Erwin I hope this information is helpful.
