The Disclaimer
Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.
I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in…as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don’t get paid for this, and I don’t have the time to list every DVD. So, please don’t complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone! |
The Specials
–I’ve got no Best Buy information in this early edition of the RoundUp. I’m going to be traveling for a couple days and have made an executive decision to post early without access to the BB flyer…especially since they have been rather unhelpful the last several weeks anyway. There is always the option (once the ad goes live on Sunday) to go to BestBuy.com and click on the weekly ad to see the media sales (I almost get the impression that they’d prefer you did that rather than depend on a Sunday flyer these days). Of course, if anyone wants to post any BB information here once it’s available, please feel free. Or, if I happen upon a flyer during my travels, I’ll post something when I have access.
–Best Buy Odds and Ends: None to report.
–Target this week has TWO EXCLUSIVE RELEASES of Fifty Shades Darker this week. The first is a Blu-ray combo pack release for $19.99 which includes EXCLUSIVE BONUS MATERIAL with 30 minutes of extra content. The second is an EXCLUSIVE LIMITED DELUXE EDITION Blu combo pack which includes the same 30 minutes of bonus material plus wine charms, a wine stopper and napkins for $25.99
–Target DOES use this week’s flyer, however, to give prices on two new releases from LAST WEEK (which were NOT included in last week’s flyer). This is getting confusing.
–Target is advertising A Dog’s Purpose @ $19.99 Blu-ray/$17.99 DVD…as well as Rings for $24.99 Blu-ray and $19.99 DVD.
–Target also has a list of movies for $15 which includes Blu-rays of La La Land, Fences and Collateral Beauty along with DVDs of Passengers, Allied, and Moonlight.
–Target Odds and Ends: Target also has a list of DVDs for $10 which includes Hidden Figures, Jackie, The Girl on the Train, Bad Moms and Fifty Shades of Grey.
