The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in…as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don’t get paid for this, and I don’t have the time to list every DVD. So, please don’t complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Certainly an eclectic list of titles. Apart from Spider-Man, not much I'm interested in this week.

Thanks for the prices!

MS Frankenstein is on pre-order, and will get Spider-Man at some point. Warhunt sounds kind of interesting based on the summary in the Movies forum.

It could be a busy week for me if the three films in my review queue arrive: Spider-Man, Fandango, and American Flyers.

Ooh robocop…gonna Look for reviews on that one, I love that movie. If it’s a good transfer it will join Spidey on my street date purchase.

I always get the sense that Robocop is a true favorite among the HTF membership.
Well it was a simpler time ...

Thank you, Mike!

Spider-Man for me this week, of course. I loved the movie and would almost certainly have gone three or four times in theaters under normal circumstances. But since we are still not in normal circumstances, I felt that taking that risk once was enough. So I am very much looking forward to being able to revisit it.

In addition to Target's art edition that Mike mentioned in the Roundup, Best Buy will have a steelbook and Wal-Mart will have exclusive variant artwork. I'm not sure if the Wal-Mart edition is just a different slipcover over the disc or if it is actually different artwork on the cover of the keepcase. I like the Wal-Mart artwork better than the regular one, but I'm not interested if it is just a slipcover. So in lack of clarity on that point, I just have the regular Blu-ray on order from Amazon.

Thanks for the RoundUp, Mike! I pre-ordered the BB 4K/UHD Steelbook way back when, so, hopefully, it will arrive on or before Tuesday. Otherwise, nothing else for me this week.

FYI, Amazon has now dropped the price of the standard Blu-ray+DVD version of Spider-Man: No Way Home to $22.96. This is a drop of $2 compared to the price it originally was when Mike put the Roundup grid together.

Amazon keeps shipping things out later and later. My shipping confirmation for Spider-Man: No Way Home, which is scheduled to arrive today, came at 1:08am.

Also, it isn't a Blu-ray, but I wanted to mention something else coming out this week in case anyone here might be interested. The original cast recording of Back to the Future: The Musical is being released on physical CD on Friday, April 15. The show is currently up and running in London after a Covid-19 delay from 2020. It just won the Oliver Award for Best New Musical this past weekend. It retains "The Power of Love," "Back in Time," "Earth Angel" and "Johnny B. Goode" from the movie. Plus there are a bunch of new songs written for the show by Alan Silvestri and Glenn Ballard. Bob Gale wrote the script for the show personally. I thought this might be worth mentioning here because I know a lot of us around the board are Back to the Future fans.

My copy came in the mail today, and I can confirm that it's just the slipcover. The actual cover underneath is the standard one.
