The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in…as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don’t get paid for this, and I don’t have the time to list every DVD. So, please don’t complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

The Specials

–This is BIG.  Best Buy, this week, has an EXCLUSIVE 4k/UHD release of Disney’s Strange World. See the grid for pricing.

Look for an EXCLUSIVE 4k release at Best Buy this week, RoundUppers.

February is starting to pick up steam with a strong list of releases this week with promises of more to come.

Personally, I’m very curious to see The Fabelmans.

Hope there’s something for you this week. Safe shopping! :D

Thank you for your work, Mike!

Not quite. But almost. The 4K release of Strange World will be available in standard keepcase packaging from the Disney Movie Club. The Best Buy steelbook is the only alternative to getting it from the club (or from someone who got it from the club.)

I am getting the steelbook.

Personally, I’m very curious to see The Fabelmans.

I liked The Fabelmans and would recommend it. I'll probably get it at some point after the price drops somewhat from its current $22.99. The steelbook of Strange World is enough for one week.

I'm currently working on a review of Strange World in 4K and I am slated to review The Fabelmans.

A bit surprised to see Criterion release the Zeffirelli adaptation of Romeo & Juliet now, given the active child pornography lawsuit from Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting, which alleges that they were sexually exploited as minors when they were forced by Paramount to do the nude scene despite being reassured previously that no nudity was required.

I could be wrong, but I think the release was announced and prepared prior to the lawsuit. I don't think Criterion has anything to gain from delaying the release.

Is it possible to buy the Strange World UHD just on it's own from Disney Movie Club? I have no idea how DMC works, I'd rather not subscribe to something I'm never going to use just for 1 disc.

Otherwise I guess I'll have to pay the inflated price for the BB Steelbook.

You would have to join and then cancel -you would be expected to complete your enrollment agreement .... otherwise it wold be the after-market such as e-bay.
