The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in…as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don’t get paid for this, and I don’t have the time to list every DVD. So, please don’t complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

The Specials

–Another week, another time there’s no Best Buy flyer in my local paper.

–Best Buy’s Weekly Ad is available at THIS LINK.

–Target this week has an EXCLUSIVE 24-page Gallery Book with its 4k/UHD and Blu-ray copies of Bohemian Rhapsody.  The book will add a $3 premium, however, to your purchase (over the cost of a standard release).  The Target exclusives are prices at $27.99 for the 4k/UHD and $22.99 for the Blu-ray version.

–Target is also advertising a FREE $5 Target GiftCard if you buy BOTH Bohemian Rhapsody (the movie, any format) AND the soundtrack CD ($11.99).

–And a couple of catalog titles advertised at Target this week:  The Nutcracker of the Four Realms ($24.99 Blu) and Paw Patrol: Pawsome Collection ($24.99 DVD).  Also, Shimmer and Shine: Flight of the Zahracorns ($9.99 DVD).

–Target’s Weekly Ad is available at THIS LINK.

Thanks for the Round-Up

I'll be getting Bohemian Rhapsody 4K (probably via Target and some gift cards I have from buying um paper products in mass quantities etc.)

LaVerite through a Criterion sale

And the Popeyes when I can get them for less spinach ;)

Yes, I'll eventually get Bohemian Rhapsody but am in no hurry.

Thanks for the prices, Mike.

Nothing for me this week
Me either. But the next two weeks are going to be far busier in terms of new titles I want, so I'm happy to have a week "off" for now.

Thank you for your work as always, Mike! :)

Target is having a "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" sale this week. I was able to buy six titles including preorder of "Glass" on 4K/UHD. Not all preorders are including in the sale just a select few like "Glass" and "Aquaman".

Thanks Robert! I may need to get out and break the cabin fever for an hour or so today and see what they have. We got dumped with between 4 and 9 inches of snow on Friday/Saturday and another storm coming in tonight/tomorrow, so I may need to just go out and see what's going on in the world before the pups and I hunker down again.

A shame that Shoplifters, one of the year's best films and nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Film, is only getting a DVD release. A shame.

Der Hund (1929) ist viel gut. I just watched both 1914 and 1929 versions a couple of nights ago and found them fascinating, particularly the 1929 version. I just love late silents.

Crap. I HAD that in the "Specials" text...but it seems to have disappeared.

Thanks, Robert!

And for full disclosure...it's a "Buy Two, Get One Free" sale on "All games, movies and books and select video games.

Just in case you wanna do some mix and matching.

"Excludes new this week and pre-order movies and 3DS and select Nintendo Switch titles."

Target's site is a bit wonky on this here is the list of 4K HD-Blurays (shop wisely as Bohemian Rhapsody is excluded but somehow listed here...

Yeah, Target's site is very screwed with these titles, but I managed to pick up Overlord, The Nun, and Halloween for $60 shipped. Not too bad. Thanks for the heads-up!

This sale is multiple use as I just placed another order too.
2001: A Space Odyssey 4K is on it's way as well as Predator 4K (Original Recipe) and Die Hard 4K for $57.18 (I used a strategy of buying one expensive and one lower priced to get another lower priced for free) which brought 2001 to below $20 which was my um Target price ;)
