The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in…as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don’t get paid for this, and I don’t have the time to list every DVD. So, please don’t complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Kind of an odd assortment of titles this week. Off a little bit from recent weeks.

But, who knows? There just may be something for you! :D

Safe shopping!

As always, thank you for your work, Mike!

I've got J.K. Rowling's new book pre-ordered for next week. But Amazon is currently listing it for $21 and change. I really want it, but I also think that's a bit expensive for a title of that stature. So I'm waiting to see if it will go down. It's not out of the realm of possibility that I could cancel it and wait for a price drop if it doesn't. Amazon also says my pre-order of the new Mary Poppins CD will arrive on the 10th, even though it is due to be released on the 6th.

I'm not planning on any new Blu-rays next week unless the rumored surprise drop of the Mulan films next week is actually true. If that were to be the case, I would probably get the new release of the animated version. However, I hope it isn't, because I want to know what all is included, and I'd also like time to reserve the steelbook so they don't sell out before I can get one.

Some interesting Full Moon stuff, but all on DVD save for the latest Puppet Master sequel. Isn't this stuff already out on DVD?

There's nothing here that tickles my fancy, but perhaps others will find things of interest.

Thanks for your work, Mike!

Thanks for the round-up. Call me confused but it says there are no UHD discs coming out but the the format headers say "UHD"

Have my Mulan in hand, which was supposed to come out next Friday.

Meanwhile, Bill and Ted, which was supposed to come out today, isn't being delivered until next Friday.

DaHell?

Yeah, it's really weird that Mulan was dropped on physical media with almost no notice or fanfare whatsoever. Disney's lack of press for it cost them inclusion in the Roundup grid.

I do have the steelbook release of the original animated film on the way to me from Best Buy.

I'll wait 24 more days until the remake is included within the regular Disney+ tier to watch that and will make a purchase decision on that later. But I knew I want the animated version no matter what. This is my fourth purchase of this movie over the years, mostly because it is a seminal film from my childhood and I'm a junkie for it every time there is a new edition. I went from the VHS to the 2-disc DVD to the original Blu-ray to the new steelbook. Once I compare the extras between the new and old versions, I expect to be able to re-gift the current Blu-ray if nothing significant has been dropped from it.
