The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in…as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don’t get paid for this, and I don’t have the time to list every DVD. So, please don’t complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

The Specials

A week after I wrote about what I thought might be the most boring RoundUp ever, I am left with another RoundUp of limited scope.

But at least there are a few titles here of which I am aware!

Safe shopping everybody!

Thank you, Mike!

I'm not planning to make new release purchases next week. However, Amazon did recently inform me via a shipping notice that a book I ordered would be arriving on January 19 instead of the January 13-16 indicated in checkout when I originally placed the order. So we'll see when that actually turns up. It is being sent with the post office, which is the first time in a while that Amazon hasn't used their own delivery service for one of my packages.

The Kid Detective for me. I like Adam Brody, and I like Sophie Nélisse, and the concept of what happens to a brilliant detective prodigy like the Hardy Boys or Nancy Drew when they grow up is intriguing to me.

I'm on the fence about JSA. Being an Arrow, it's almost certainly going to drop below $5 on iTunes at some point.

Your link to the GANG BUSTERS serial is not the VCI copy. It's the Grapevine Video version. I've heard the VCI GANG BUSTERS has been pushed back a few months.

The book Amazon estimated would arrive on January 19 actually showed up on Thursday. So now it's official. Nothing for me next week.

Like I did with Prince last week I picked up John Hughes films I didn't previously own this week.

Prince and John Hughes are both big parts of the new Ready Player Two novel.

I picked up the criterion Breakfast Club, and the Blu of Pretty in Pink.
