Konka debuts LED, QLED and OLED TVs at CES

At CES, Konka announced its new TV line-up for Spring 2020 in North America, and the company is launching in the market with a number of different display technologies. First, there will be three new series of both LED and QLED TVs, followed by the company’s new flagship OLED TVs.

“We are very excited to launch three key display technologies, all offering unique consumer advantages and high value.” said Scott Ramirez, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Konka North America, LLC. “In keeping with Konka’s mission to provide the best possible combination of quality, technology and value, Konka is providing an incredible line-up of smart TV products that are also a smart choice for both retailers and consumers.”

The new H3 LED TVs with Android TV series include DynaBright dynamic dimming for enhanced dynamic contrast and AccuMotion 120 promoting clear imagery with fast motion video. Konka has incorporated Android TV for smart TV and smart home connectivity, as well as a free voice control remote. Connectivity options comprise 3 HDMI Inputs (HDMI CEC and ARC) and a ZeroBezel design. The H3 Series will be available in 32” HD (MSRP $199.99) and 40” FHD (MSRP $299.99) screen sizes.

The U5 series 4K Ultra HD LED TVs includs advanced XC3 UHD Engine that includes CrystalView clarity enhancer, DeepBlack contrast enhancer and PurePalette color enhancer, among the line’s many features. A HiBright pro backlight ensures a 25% brighter picture and ColorWave wide color gamut offers deeper, more lifelike colors. The U5 Series also includes DynaBright, AccuMotion 120, Android TV with the free voice control remote, and 4 HDMI 2.0 Inputs with HDCP 2.2. Screen sizes and pricing are as follows: 43” (MSRP $399.99), 50” (MSRP $499.99), 55” (MSRP $599.99), 65” (MSRP $999.99) and 75” (MSRP $1,499.99).

The QLED Q7 Series includes all the featues of the U5 Series with the XC3 UHD Engine and Android TV, but adds ColorWave Pro wide color gamut with Quantum Dot Technology for 25% more color, as well as a ZeroBezel Pro Design. The Q7 Series will be available in 50” (MSRP $699.99), 55” (MSRP $799.99), 65” (MSRP $1,199.99) and 75” (MSRP $1,999.99) UHD Screen Sizes.

Finally, the X11 Series OLED TVs use a HiBright Ultra OLED panel with ColorWave ultra wide color gamut with pure blacks and bright highlights for a “no compromises” picture quality, as well as ZeroBezel Ultra design with a built-in sound bar and dbx TV sound. The X11 Series will be available in 55” and 65” UHD screen sizes, but no pricing is issued on these models yet. It’s also not clear if Konka has a dedicated US website yet, but we’ll keep you informed as we find out more…
