KEF is selling its award-winning, wireless LSX speakers which launched last November with a sale price of $999 until the end of the year from various resellers.

The compact two-speaker wireless music system capitalizes on connectivity while delivering high-resolution stereo audio. KEF’s Active Music System is wireless from source and between speakers, and the product features AirPlay 2 for multi-room streaming from Apple devices. LSX also uses Uni-Q driver arrays for improved stereo imaging.

The speakers combine KEF’s ‘Music Integrity Engine’ with digital signal processing to make sure time alignment and phase are coherent, making the speakers small enough to be located on shelves, desktops or either side of a TV. LSX has a curved cabinet design, available in five colors, with extensive bracing and constrained layer damping found in the company’s high-end speakers. Design was overseen by Michael Young, and all speakers in the range are clad in luxury fabrics courtesy of Danish textile manufacturers, Kvadrat.

The system can integrate with music services as well as access music stored on a networked hard drive or PC via DLNA, and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity is also at hand. Its two-box form factor make the pair good companions for both music and TV, for which there are both TOSLINK optical and Auxiliary inputs. You can use KEF’s control app to set up the speakers and manage feature updates.
