Seriously? Y'all could've at least had the decency to wait a year or two. I paid $28.00 for T-Men alone in September, y'now, to support the cause or whatever. And Raw Deal JUST CAME OUT last month! I guess ClassicFlix doesn't want my business that badly after all.

Thanks for posting this Ron. ClassicFlix is touting a big sale on their site right now and have these three titles bundled for $49.98!!! I almost pulled the trigger, but won't with this release coming out in about 6-7 weeks. Not only save a few bucks, but some shelf space as well.

Thanks for the information David. It's a shame you don't ship in Europe. I would love to buy directly in your site.

Understood. Wish we could too, but even though third party sellers will sell our releases overseas, our licensing agreement doesn't permit it.

Please be aware the Alton Collection does not come with any bonus features or booklets, they are strictly the films only.

That needs repeating to those that already expressed their dismay about purchasing the individual releases.

According to Amazon they are all squeezed on one disc! Does that mean that they were additionally compressed?

Squeezed? They are all short films and if there are no extras a BD 50 can handle all three without any problems. Two of them are seventy-nine minutes and one is ninety-two.

I'd say that's squeezed. Using the byte count for the film portions alone from the DVD Beaver reviews of these films = 53.56107 gigs.

Um, I don't know from bytes, but having used the best of the authoring houses in LA running times of under three hours fit just fine on a BD-50. So, I'm not sure what this is about. Even maxed out bits or bytes or gigs would be fine on a BD-50. Whole three hour movies PLUS extras are fine on a BD-50.

Amazon says:
  • Run Time: 250 minutes
250 minutes is 4.17 hours.
