Didn’t see a thread started but it was reported that Jaws is coming to 4k UHd Blu Ray in June.

Some people here think the blu was DNR'd. I don't think this has been confirmed though.

Some "grain management" has definitely been applied. I saw an archival 35mm print a few months before seeing the 4K remaster digitally projected. On its own, the digital version looks very good, but it looks nothing like the film.

I'm going to say this, I'll take looks "very good" every time over it looks nothing like the film.

Until it’s released, it’s an impossible question to answer of course.

I’d be happy with any improvement. I want the best possible version.

Since this is the last time I purchased this title I will be picking up the 4K UHD Blu-ray as there should be a big improvement over the DVD!

^shoulda bought the previous blu. That dts track is the same botched mix as the 2000 Dolby 5.1 remix but just at the usual higher bit rate and whatnot.

Should anyone have a chance to screen an original Technicolor print of Jaws at a local archival movie house......don't miss it. It's a treat!!

Now then... we’ve also learned that the 4K artwork we shared for Jaws last week is officially not the final cover artwork, per Universal. Which is good, because we know that lots of you hated it. Rest assured, it’s not final. We expect to have the final cover—and all the confirmed details—when Jaws is officially announced for 4K in a few weeks.

The main problem I had with that cover is that it didn't say "+ Digital Code" Hopefully the real cover will!
