Jamo Wins EISA Best Buy Home Theater Speaker System Award

Jamo has announced that its Studio 8 S 809 HCS speakers have won the prestigious EISA Best Buy Home Theatre Speaker System award.

The European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) is a collaboration between 55 of the international specialist CE magazines. The association celebrates new products that combine the most advanced technology and desirable features with class-leading performance.

EISA writes, “When it comes to captivating home theatre audio from a smart, stylish system, Jamo’s Studio 8 series ticks all the boxes. An ideal starting point for a multichannel setup, the S809 HCS package of two floorstanders, centre speaker and pair of bookshelf surrounds can be strengthened by the addition of the compact but powerful S 810 SUB for extra low-end grunt. Meanwhile, Jamo’s S 8 ATM upfiring speakers, which integrate seamlessly with floorstanding models, provide a Dolby Atmos upgrade path. The performance here is accurate, well-balanced and enveloping, and the slim, elegant cabinets with grey fabric grilles result in 5.1.2 package that looks every bit as good as it sounds.”

The reimaged Jamo Studio 8 series was introduced in January 2018 and combines ‘contemporary designs with advanced acoustics,’ and natural sound at various price points. The company claims that it paid ‘extra attention to detail’ with respect to designing the range’s aesthetics. The flagship Jamo Studio S 809 HCS home cinema system consists of S 809 floorstanding speakers, S 801 surround speakers, and a S 81 center channel, plus S 8 ATM Dolby Atmos elevation speakers, and an S 810 subwoofer.
