After their respective openings in Houston, Austin and Miami, the VerVent Audio Group, under which sits the Focal and Naim brands, has announced the opening of two new ‘spaces’ here in the US. The two latest Focal Powered by Naim venues are located in Dallas, TX inside the DeVance Electronic Lifestyle store and Scottsdale, AZ, within the Acoustic Designs Group showroom. Focused on “experience and sharing”, these new design shop-in-shops join a global network of the brands’ outlets, which now represent more than 25 spaces for testing out new gadgets and presumably buying.
The Texas location is at Carrollton on the outskirts of Dallas. The Focal Powered by Naim section is housed in the DeVance Electronic Lifestyle flagship store with two demo rooms. These are dedicated to the Focal and Naim brands, and there is a ‘headphone bar’ for checking out open and closed Focal hi-fi models. There is a further space for luxury auto systems. Inside this auto-themed room, says F&N, are the Grande Utopia hi-fi speakers in blue finish, combined with Naim’s Statement amplifiers. These are showcased as part of a partnership between Focal, Naim and Delage Automobiles around the D12 hypercar, highlighting the “mythical metallic blue” of the car. You can read more about that here.
