Epson unveils compact EpiqVision work-and-play projectors

Epson has unveiled two new projectors, the EpiqVision Flex CO-FH02 Smart Portable (MSRP $629.99) and EpiqVision Flex CO-W01 Portable (MSRP $429.99, pictured in header). Both are available now from Epson and approved retailers, and are designed for both “work or play”. The new beamers are equipped with 3,000 lumens of brightness to enable diagonally measured images up to 300 inches.

“Whether presenting to peers during the day or hosting movie night with friends, larger and more immersive viewing makes a big difference. With the EpiqVision Flex projectors, users will experience the best of both worlds with technology that offers convenience, versatility and most importantly, incredibly bright and engaging big-screen images,” said Kenny Tang, product manager, projectors, Epson America, Inc.

Both projectors employ sleek designs for fitting into satchels or backpacks, according to Epson. With Epson’s signature 3-chip 3LCD tech onboard, the company promises to offer excellent brightness and image detail in all environments. The cheaper CO-W01 projector includes HDMI and a speaker for video conferencing, and the CO-FH02 carries Android TV for streaming content from Amazon Prime, Apple TV+, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu and YouTube. The CO-FH02 also supports Chromecast for casting directly from a phone, tablet or computer.

Other features of both projectors include an automated scene-based color correction technology, a built-in speaker for movies and conferencing, and virtual meetings features. Epson offers a standard one-year limited warranty, replacement program and tech support for the life of the product.
