Eleanor Rigby Home launches home theater furniture line

San Diego-based Eleanor Rigby Home, a boutique upholstery company and fine furniture manufacturer known for “hand-applied leather finishes”, recently launched a new line of motion seating aimed at the home theater market.

Power Motion is a new product category and the company claims they have quickly become best-sellers. The WSJ MANSION (home) section recently reported the rising popularity of multi-use media rooms using Power Motion seating products. The features of the Eleanor Rigby Home line include a button-push lumbar and leg position option, three differing seat widths, custom styling options with tailored design, and modular construction for placement fliexibility.

Eleanor Rigby Home claims to be a “complete upholstery resource and a go-to” for custom solutions for home theater seating. The company are “big fans” of comfort but also strong advocates for not sacrificing style when producing a power recliner. Each model is offered as a modular concept so that a customer can build a sofa or sectional to fit an exact space, and the onboard Leggett & Platt mechanisms are tried and tested for reliability and durability by “the world’s largest furniture components company.” Three different seat widths are offered, and all mechanisms undergo testing for durability and reliability, and include a seat forward feature so that a sofa or sectional can be positioned against a wall.

The company says it puts emphasis on craftmanship – such as hand-stitching and custom wood and metal finishes – which is the hallmark of Eleanor Rigby’s motion program. You can view more of Eleanor Rigby Power Motion products at www.eleanorrigbyhome.com.
