I got mine yesterday. Disc looks very Nice and sounds Great ! Here's the Problem I noticed on my 4K UHD Disc. At 1:23:14 into the movie The Beatles are singing She Loves You. There is a shot of John singing something else ! At 1:24:43 just after You're a Swine ? The title song starts and as The Beatles start to walk out. Then it switches back to the video control room and you can see The Beatles singing If I Fell with the blonde woman adjusting the screens again. ? Then back to them running towards the helicopter. Who lets things like this get released ?? I want a Replacement disc Criterion. :( ...... Anybody ??

Keep i mind the 4K format is new to Criterion, thier fist release in 4K was was Citizen Kane....so there might be some glickes, even with a company like Criterion. How they handel the damage contol will tell you everthing about the company behind the release. I love Criterions track record and hope that they would step up and get you happy!!

Did Criterion stack the 4K and BD discs on top of each other?! I can't tell from that pic above what is going on there with the packaging.

Edit: you put your 4K disc in a DVD keepcase or something, didn't you?

Thanks tskogg ! .. I sent Criterion an Email about it with a photo of the 4K UHD Disc. They better fix it. :( I didn't think I would be the only one that has this messed up 4K disc. The Bluray is fine like the first Criterion release. Somebody really Goofed on the 4K !

No, the discs are not on top of each other. I use the Criterion clear cases. I don't like the paper digi packs packaging that Criterion releases. I use Custom Cover Art on my collection.

I can confirm these errors.

The first shot at 1:23:14 should be the reaction shot of the director in the control room because Grandfather just came up through the floor.

The second at 1:24:43 should be a shot of the helicopter waiting for the Beatles, not the control room, which still shows the Beatles performing and the girl adjusting the dials on the monitors.

Rick Bond is in the lead for Eagle Eye of 2022.

The Blu-ray with the 4K is correct.

The previous Criterion Blu-ray is correct.

I even checked my old MPI DVD and it is correct.

Thank You Dan ! :) This is a film that I have seen well over 100 times ! I know it like the back of my hand. I am still waiting for an answer Email from Criterion. I sent them 2 Emails to different departments. I didn't think it was just my disc with this Defect. Everyone that bought the 4K UHD has the same problem. I Never had a problem with Criterion before. But, there is a first time for everything. Who ever wants a Replacement Disc raise your hand ! :emoji_raised_hand:

Does the BD included with the 4K disc appear to be the same as the previously released one?

Edit: I found my answer...Yes. When I went to put the new BD in my Oppo it asked whether I wanted to continue where I last left off on the original disc. Only the disc artwork is slightly different.

As shipped - the blu-ray is beneath the 4K disc in a side-by-each hard plastic and chipboard case (similar to the Andrei Rublev Blu-Ray packaging.
