Zombieland is now available on Amazon Prime. The pilot is up.I'm going to watch this after work.
Pilot was good but not great.I like the actress Maiara Walsh. Some good zombie killings. Not too keen on the Onstar woman. It's getting good feedback, so it looks like it might make it to series.I'll watch it if it does.
Rumor is that this will be going to series.
Thanks for reminding me about this - going to check it out tonight
Christopher, Forget it. The show runner said its not moving forward. They said the Zombieland fans bashed the pilot hard.
Deservedly so. It was pretty leaden.
Yeah I thought it was terrible. I'd rather see a movie sequel with the original cast.
The first mistake was recasting the roles from the movie with lesser actors. The smarter move would have been to set the TV show in the same universe as the movies but following a different group in a different part of the country. That way you're not constantly comparing the performances.
Thread title change needed.Zombieland episodes = 1
yeah, it was dissapointing
This is the most obvious concept that I'm shocked they didn't immediately go to this. It would have made complete sense and been a cute somewhat spin off.
Frankly, if I were the script writer, for comedy effect I would have set this in Manitoba. I would have had a bunch of rural canucks dealing with wayward American zombies and making up their own set of rules.
But anything that would make it "different" but in the same universe could have been fun. But this was not fun, it was seriously a poor man's version of the movie. Ferris Bueller the TV show
Woody Harrelson wouldn't sign on for a sequel or the television series. He probably knew it would be a bust, I mean you can only look for twinkies so long. Anyway, is the pilot only on Amazon Prime? I'm just curious as to what they came up with.
That makes two of us.
