Gamespot and IGN both have new previews up on these 2 games and they seem to be coming along very nicely. Sounds like the graphics in SH3 have taken a good leap forward and its a nice bonus having the soundtrack cd bundled with the game!

Also Gaming Age have posted a list of Konami's confirmed games for this year it's a bit PS2 heavy but i'm sure more titles will be announced nearer E3.

Kind of surprising that there is only one game for the Xbox. I would have thought that they would have put out the basketball, and TMNT game for that as well.

Interesting.

Yup, Konami announced that due to really bad X-Box hardware and software sales in Japan, their Japanese releases would be indefinitely halted. As for American releases, they probably just decided to release less overall.

Is anything known about the Turtles game? Any chance it'll carry forward the old arcade game tradition, or will it just be a one-on-one fighter? I read something about "battling your way through Foot Soldiers," so I'm hoping that means a next-gen follow-up to Turtles in Time.

My hopes have just increased for Gradius ... Treasure is developing it for Konami! :)

I too am curious about the Turtles game for that same reason Greg. I don't want anything fancy, just a souped-up arcade Turtles game for four. :D

Better yet, since Konami made the old ones, I wonder what the chances are of putting both the first arcade game and Turtles in Time in this new one as perfectly ported bonus extras.

Oh, a man can dream... ;)

It was going to be a purchase anyway but if that is indeed true it may be bumped up on my list (Though the third level boss on Ikaruga still OWNZ me).

Since we are on the subject of shooters (and not to change the subject too much here.) Anyone else remember an old PS1 shooter called Philosoma? Its not the best shooter in the world but I found it 2 days ago in a bargain bin (with the original box style PS1 game packaging) for 6 bucks and I'm having a good time with it.

Ah yes. That is one that I still need to hunt down and buy. I owned previously and ended up selling it for something I can't even remember. Come to think of it, damn you Paul cause now I'm going to have go track down a copy!

For now though I'm still working my way through Philosoma. If anyting the game has some great CG sequences and it plays really nicely.

Sorry mate ;) its a great game tho. I just had a quick look on Ebay and there's a few copies on there but they want decent money for it. Hmmmm, time to scour the bargain bins!

Yep, actually just got off the phone with a buddy of mine at EB. They have a used copy in good condition for 25. Its on hold:D .

EDIT: Suprisingly not a lot of hunting needed to done.:frowning: (I rather enjoy that part of it for some reason)

It's all about the hunt, Romier. All about the hunt. Just like going after 'coons in me backyard. Or chix0rs at the local bar.

Yeah it's all about the chase :D More satisfaction to be had if you've had to work for it!!

I remember Einhander having some fantastic music :)
