WASHINGTON (Reuters) -- About 80,000 large-screen, analog Zenith Electronics Corp. televisions are being recalled for repair because they may be a fire hazard, U.S. safety regulators and the Illinois company said on Thursday.

These were analog rptv sets and according to the article:

The televisions were sold from April 1995 through April 1999 for between $1,200 and $2,800 each.

Regardless of any other factors involved in a purchase decision regarding Zenith, this fire hazard shouldn't apply to anything they're selling now.
