Looks like an interesting idea. Their website seems to be pretty sparse though-I'm assuming that the keysets are just overlays onto the base? Sounds like it could be pretty flimsy. It's the kind of thing that I'd definitely have to try out before buying one.

    Sorry about that Jay!

I got the keyboard in today, along with the 2 pack in skins and the extra Doom3 skin. They arent just overlays! They are heavy duty plastic inserts that have entire keysets, custom uses and layouts, and of course the Doom3 one has awesome artwork.

Will be giving it a whirl tonight, in anticipation of D3 next week!

Yeah. Give us an update. Is this supposed to supplement the mouse or do away with?

    Thanks,

It doesnt replace the mouse, it replaces the cramped WASD movement setup most 3d action gamers are used to.

My future gaming peripheral of choice from E3 this year:

    Ergodex DX1

User-configurable setup. Reportedly, they plan to add sliders, switches, etc as well. Plop a button down wherever you want.

Think it is still pre-order only at this stage.

I can't stand WASD. Too likely to hit erroneous keys, or end up with my fingers set up wrong. I move the keyboard way over and use the normal arrow keys. I've got long fingers, so I use KP_INS, CTRL, DEL, END, Pgdwn, etc for extra buttons. Plus I try to keep with a mouse that has lots of buttons on it.
