What's the story with the Sanyo Z1. It's so cheap (650). Is is undependable? Why is it so cheap.

Probably because it is now a couple generations behind. Sanyo is now up to the Z3.

The Z1 is probably still a fine projector, and a good starting place for those on a budget.

Johnny, is it $650 for a new one, refurb. or used?
I know they had a lot of problems with short bulb life. I considered one, but I bought the X1 instead.

I double checked it was $698 and yes it is a brand new one. Man that's a good deal. Hell I could buy another bulb and still be ahead of the game. Nah, I'll go for the Z3.

How goes sit in Oconomowoc? I'll be moving to Brookfield in a few months?

Everything's just fine here, other than the Packer fans. I moved up here from Chicago, I'm a big Bears fan.

I paid $1500 for my Z1, back when it was the current generation of projector. $698 is an incredible deal.
