Does anyone know how You Tube does the 'Wait 1 minute for a 100MB file to load' type of thing for their videos?

I have two I want to upload to my site so people can see a side by side comparison, and I don't know how to get that setup the way Youtube does..

Thanks :)

Flash 8 has a great way to link FLV files to an embedded SWF file. You can easily script the Flash file to wait as many seconds as you like before the video starts playing.

Neil, when you upload a video to YouTube, it gets compressed into an FLV file. Then they use the Flash preloader that is built into Flash.

What I'm saying is, if you want to do some other video export (other than FLV), you'll need some sort of streaming server. Or you'd have to find some program that buffers the video first before playing it.
