You know how it is, your in Best Buy, Circuit City or any other store that carries DVD's and suddenly, without any warning, you spot an old favorite that you didn't even know was on DVD!

If your like me you snatch it up so fast that your hand causes a sonic boom and without hesitation you buy it.

What were some, if any, of your unexpected and pleasantly surprising finds of last year? Mine was without a doubt In the Line of Duty: The F.B.I. Murders, I had started a thread on it just 3 or so months ago asking if we could get it on DVD and low and behold I just stumbled across it at Best Buy 4 weeks ago LOL.

Criterion's F for Fake. I bought it ONLY because it was an Orson Welles film. After all, Welles can't be that bad?

It's one of my favorite films now. And Criterion's DVD is perfect. Excellent presentation and the supplements are excellent. The "One Man Band" documentary is facinating and the de Hory documentary allows more background on the art forger.
