The quote was from Kino Lorber. I think they were talking about their titles.
By using the word "Sets" I doubt it as Kino has not released any "sets" of Hope films either. They've all been released singly - even the "Road" films. Granted, there are dozens of sets of Hope films - I have far more than my fair share as you'd often have to purchase yet another set just to get a couple of "previously unreleased films."

From the other site:

"Bob Hope films are better sellers. There's been many Bob Hope sets, I don't remember any Crosby sets except for the "Road to" ones which also feature Bob Hope."
That's the post I made reference to.

But it's a far cry from what has been said in this thread about Kino Lorber's thoughts on the viability of Bing Crosby films in today's Blu-Ray market.

I suspect Bob Hope's films sell better than the majority of their golden age releases, yet thankfully that hasn't stopped Kino Lorber from regularly releasing a wide range of great classics on Blu-Ray from that era. So just saying that Bob Hope sells better is not much of an indictment of Bing Crosby, imo.

The disc of Le Magnifique provides de-grained images with all faces having ludicrously smooth skin. It's particularly noticeable in the "imagination" scenes which are always more brightly lit than the "reality" scenes. The images are vivid and clear and the color is good.

A few highly-regarded Bing Crosby films (not meant to be an exhaustive list):

Birth of the Blues
Holiday Inn
Going My Way (and its sequel, The Bells of St. Mary's)
A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court
The Country Girl
High Society
White Christmas

Those are some great titles. I know you will enjoy them. I really liked Jazz On A Summer Day.

If I live outside of US and Canada what should I do?
Do I wait 1-2 years for the correct batch of Hard Target to hit Amazon?
I know you don't ship internationally and probably wouldn't send a replacement internationally too.

Eight titles across two orders for me:

Battleship Potemkin
Evil Under the Sun
Faust
The Lost Weekend
Mary, Queen of Scots
Peter Pan
The Undying Monster
The Young Savages

Outside of receiving review titles, I'm officially on moratorium on buying new titles until after Christmas.
