I picked this up the other day and wasn't very impressed after the first viewing even though I love Trey and Matt's other film's especially Orgazmo. But after watching the extras including the hilarious commentary,it started to grow on me.Those damn songs are so catchy that I can't get them out of my head, kinda like those Parappa the Rapper songs.

I was just curious was anyone else thought about this truly one of a kind low bugdet film.

The DVD commentary track really made the movie for me, too. Still have yet to buy the DVD, but it's on my list...

I think it's terrific. The songs are highly entertaining---how many musicals can you honestly say that about--and the story is pretty hilarious too. When you add on the commentary, it's a must-have.

I think I know precisely what I mean when I say it's a shpadoinkle movie.

    Fudge, Packer?

There's nothing funnier than people singing about cannibalism.

Wasn't too satisfying for me. It was like Chinese food... an hour later you're hungry again. [IMG]

    I liked the snowman bits. I can't get "Let's build a snowman. . . ." out of my head.

I just picked up this movie about a week ago. You can certainly tell that it's Trey and Matt's first attempt at a full-length feature, seeing as the movie drags in quite a few places and several jokes don't come off as well as they should. I honestly think that the commentary track is funnier than the movie itself. Anyone who likes Parker and Stone should definitely check this one out.
On a related note, who's psyched about seeing Orgazmo on DVD? Cock Rocket!!! [IMG]

They say on the commentary, before they get too wasted that if they could they'd cut it down to under an hour [IMG] Yes, it's a student film, but you know what? It's got enough sick humor that I love it. I just fast forward to the numbers [IMG]

I watch Cannibal quite often. Always good for a laugh. The songs are all really catchy and I end up with them in my brain all day.

The movie definitely grows on you. I wasn't too impressed when I first viewed it, but the songs stay with you. It got to the point where I would watch Cannibal almost every day.

I saw this in the theater and loved it. Since I bought the DVD the day it came out, I've seen it 5 times. Each time with the commentary on. I hope the commentary for Orgazmo will be this good (I wish they'd go back and do commentaries for SP"BLU and BASEketball.

Unfortunately, I lost my appreciation for musicals which includes the cannibalistic kind. Blood and gore is fine but the music gets on my nerves.

I never saw this and am not sure if I want to buy it without seeing it. I was trying to find it on Netflix but couldn't find it. Guess I will just have to take the plunge and buy.

I love this film. I was rolling when in the first scene, the courtroom 're-enactment' by the prosecution was going on. The whole scene of Packer tearing off arms, eating tongues and whatnot cracked me up.
    Now then, bring on Orgazmo!
