My settings were within a few points of what I had determined, with the exception of Brightness and Contrast. I am curious as to other's experiences with this product. I have to say, it was a pleasure to use.

Contrast from 34 up to 49(Spyder)

Brightness from 37 down to 29(Spyder)

    Color from 32 to 37(Spyder)

    Tint stayed at 35(Spyder)

    Temperature remained at Medium

I'll have to watch a few DVD's to see how this works out- it does seem rather bright right now...

BTW, TV is a Mitsubishi WS-65815

    HI James

Retry the program with the constrast set to a constant of 31 ish (or perhaps a little lower). This will require the black level to be reset.

Remember that the program will not account for the Mits red push, so be prepared to adjust the color control down 4-8 clicks after it has selected the appropriate color and tint settings.

If you are wondering, I was the consultant / beta tester on the STV project.

    Happy viewing!!

    Gregg

Thanks Gregg, I did find the color to be on the too-saturated side, and lowered it.

How do I run the program at a constant contrast of ~31? It seems to have you bounce around until it picks what it likes best...
Do I just keep leaving it on 31 when it asks me change the contrast number?

I do plan on doing every set in my family and friends' circle, so if there are any other tips you want to pass along, please do so.

All you have to do to have a constant is NOT TO CHECK it off on the opening screen, it will then bypass that step during the wizard.

Also, heed the warning that you need to be doing this in a dark room, as any room light (especially if fluctuating) can affect the results (especially the black level).
