IMHO Denon is a "better" & higher quality brand than Yamaha. I own a pretty decent AV Yamaha receiver & would love to own a Denon. ($$$$ concerns you know) It all boils down to the features of each receiver & your "needs". The Yamaha RX-V2700 looks like a wonderful piece of equipment.

I'd like to know also.

I have a RX-V2600 and thought of upgrading for the network options and the 3 HDMI inputs versus 2 on mine.

I've heard the Yamaha and Denons back to back, they are priced similar and I prefered the feature set of the Yamaha, not a big difference to me on sound quality.

My 2600 has been flawless and been very happy with it.
