Does it work better if your using a denonlink between a denon receiver and player? Then your using the bm in the receiver,right?

Without going through Denon's volumnous manuals I can't properly answer your question - sorry. But I have read several times where Denon's hi-res players (and I think certain receivers ) usually have an option in their set up menu to automatcially increase the LFE's level by 10dB when a hi-res disc is played, a very convenient feature.
