What is your desert island movie?
I really honestly can't narrow it down to one, so lets go with 5!
Yes they can be DVD or not, doesn't matter since it is hypothetical anyway!
    for me
    Casablanca
    Seven
    Star Wars
    Black Hawk Down
    Creature from the Black Lagoon

So, let me get this straight:

You're alone, on a desert island.
You have a TV, DVD Player, and possible a decent speaker setup.
Through some sort of miracle, you have electricity.

And you're telling me that there will only be ONE dvd there, and that I get to choose that disc?

Anyhow.. Mine would be 12 Monkeys.

I'd also have to go with LOTR. Actually since this is all hypothetical, can I just have the whole LOTR Trilogy? I am ready to go to my island now.

Gotta go with Star Wars Trilogy. It has inifinite replay value. It never gets old no matter how many times I watch it. It's like revisiting an old friend. If I could carry 5, the other two would be Raiders of the Lost Ark and Gladiator.
