to give any one actor or actress more and better roles. Who do you choose?

You also have the power to wipe one actor or actress off the movie-making planet forever. They would never make another movie again. Who do you choose?

Wow Scott, I came in here ready to select Steve Martin, and you beat me to it. That's OK, I still pick Steve Martin.

And no more movies for Leonardo DiCaprio. Yes, I know he's done some good stuff, but I still can't get over that travesty that is Titanic.

Hey buddy, neat idea!
Emmanuelle Beart could use a good role.......in the hay with me, that is! :D
Sean Astin, that little punk from Rudy, has always grated on my nerves for some reason. Take away his SAG card, I say!

Kevin Bacon, Elizabeth Shue, and Winona Ryder could utilize better roles.

Antonio Banderas, Ben Affleck and ,of course, "Canoo" Reeves

could all stop making movies and the world would be a better place.

First, I'd make sure Richard Gere never makes another movie again.

I don't know why, but I detest his presence in any movie.

Bill Murray deserves the best roles out there. He's one of the best actors out there and makes any movie great with his presence. Even Space Jam is made a little better.

I could do without another Julia Roberts movie; something about her just rubs my fur the wrong way.

I'd like to see Ian Holm get some meatier roles than as his usual supporting roles. He's been good in everything I've seen him in from Alien to Fellowship of the Ring.

Tom Sizemore could be in more and better movies.

I would also not allow Julia Roberts to makes movies again.

Robert DeNiro - Give him a professional script reader, although I think it's his own choice to sell out.

Nicholas Cage - Same as DeNiro.

More: Delroy Lindo

No: Josh Hartnett, the actor so bad he wasn't even believable in a Halloween sequel.

This is a great poll
Some of my immediate favorites have been mentioned (Steve Martin and Bill Murray), and some of my favorite smaller actors like Leelee Sobieski (who seriously needs to rescure herself from the drek she's in now) and Natalie Portman have all found homes in the Hollywood arena. I'll have to think some more on this one.
As for removed from the acting arena, I can think of a few deserving subjects, but Freddie Prinze Jr has as much business on screen as I do (which equates to damn near none).
