All right, after thinking I would be ok with 720p, I kept thinking about the posts in my other thread and they started to get to me. I started looking around for 1080p projectors that would project at least a 100" image at a maximum of 10 ft. The BenQ w7010 seems like it would be the perfect projector for me if I could find one available. Has this model just not yet been released in America? http://www.projectorcentral.com/BenQ-W1070.htm

The European marketplace is 3-6 months before the US marketplace. We should see it by March.
BenQ doesn't even have all the info loaded into the US website. My guess is it will replace the W710ST.

The European forums are claiming the 1070 is a short throw, but that doesn't jive with PC's calculator...
That ST claim is why I was/am thinking it is going to replace the 710ST. There would be no need for the 710 if the 1070 is also ST.

Yeah, I saw that and I also saw that there was another model (w1080st) that is the short throw. I was assuming also that these two models would replace the w700/710st models. March seems like a long time, but I think it will be worth the wait.
