You can now watch select Hulu Originals in HDR

For now, Hulu only has a few of its Original movies and shows in HDR.

Of course, this being Hulu, it's not across all devices. I don't understand why they are this way. My Apple TV now gets their shows in 5.1 while my Android TV still doesn't. It looks like HDR will be the same way.

Hulu has flip-flopped on 4K many times. I'm currently waiting for them to add Dolby Atmos, since most of their newer original programming has been mixed in that format. Until Disney takes total ownership of Hulu, this will continue to occur, as Disney is in the process of buying out Comcast/NBC's stake in the service, with the agreement being that Disney pay Comcast current fair market value for their shares. Keeping Hulu in the red is the best way to keep those share prices low.
