I had trouble shooting the sea lions but you captured them so well (and so crisply).

Monopod, RRS monopod head, and the RRS l-bracket on my D4 made walking with the 70-300 a breeze, and super sharp. Now having the 70-200VR and the 80-400 I am amazed at how much a value and what a sharp lens the 70-300 is. It's the best bang for the buck in the nikon lineup.
