    What did i do!

When i watch HDTV i put it about + 20 DB or so.
When i put it on digital or regular cable i cannot hear it at all with this level.
I need to crank it all the way to the highest my Kardon 325 will go to hear digital/normal cable.

If i switch it back to a HD channel without turning it down...you cannot imagine the sound that comes out.....my girlfriend almost started to cry it was so bad...both our ears were ringing for 20 minutes.....not to mention i hope my new speakers are OK.

So what did i do? It wasn't like this a few days ago. Even at full on the receiver i can hardly hear any channel except HD.

I have a Kardon 325 and 7 JBL speakers if this helps.

Ok, it appears that its regular cable only.
Digital cable is pretty loud and so is the HDTV.

I can hardley hear the regular cable.
    Any suggestions?

Are you using the analog outputs from a cable box for the non-digital cable channels? If so, check the volume level setting on the cable box.
