I have looked back through the last 15 pages of posts and haven't really been able to answer my question.

I am looking for a new TV, I am currently living in an Apartment that does not have Cable Access so I watch TV maybe an hour every month though a bunny ears anntenna. (Yeah I know how sad  )

Anyways, I watch 99.9% DVD movies, Netflix rules :D

I am looking to purchase a 16:9 TV and have a spending range of $2500 Max, would like something in the 50ish Range. It would be nice if I could purchase something from a chain. Best Buy, Sears, Circut City as I can sign up for a card and get free financing or one of those deals.

What would be a good TV to purchase to just watch DVD movies?

Thanks!

Hi Mike, I just got the Toshiba 57H82 and can recommend it highly. I paid $2700 CDN and I think it can be had for as low as $1800 US, the new product line is coming out so it's a great time to get a deal on a big screen. Hope this helps.
