I have a two year old Sony Wega and I've recently noticed a small problem. Whenever the screen goes totally black (like in between scenes in a movie etc) The left side is noticably darker than the right. It's almost like a vertical black bar on the screen. Anyone else ever experience this? Thanks....

Andre: The much-discussed "uneven brightness" plague common to direct-view Sony WEGAs appears to be happening in your home theater as well. Just run a search. You'll find several threads about this occurrence. JB

    Yup!
I've got this too, the right 1/3 is brighter than the left 2/3rds.
Not much you can do but do a search. If you calibrated with the S&V disc, calibrate the brightness with THX Optimode which sets a lower level. It makes it less noticable.

Thanks guys, I guess I should probably do another calibration soon anyway and I will do a search!
