Well after 9 month (or so) of hard work here is my «baby»...
I've made everything myself from start (plan) to finish and I must say that I'm very proud of the result. What do YOU think?
Btw, NO it's not a «real screen» (actualy it's a vinyl table cloth!) and I dont have my projector yet. 2 or 3 recliner seats will be added... When my credit card has recovered!!! ;-)
    Any comments appreciated.

    Bernard,
Looks fantastic. Could you perhaps give the measurements of the room and maybe where you built it at (ie basement, spare bedroom, den etc).

That looks great [IMG]. Almost like the display JMLabs had for NYC HI-FI Show months ago. Just one beautiful looking theater. Talking about the sweet spot, looks like the hideaway only HTF members can appreciate. When we come over you'll have to supply more chairs [IMG].

Looks great, the best part is that there is only one chair in the room! That's funny, everybody else has to wait outside. I love the color of the walls, I plan on going with that color too. Nice look, very slick.

    Thank you for kind words.
Kevin, the Ht room was built in my basement 10,5' width by 18'long by 7,5' height.
Take note everybody that it is MY listening room with MY sweetspot and NO ONE (except me!) is allowed to go in there!
That's why there is just ONE seat!
    [IMG] I'm kidding!!!
Seriously, my guest bring their own chair when they visit me!
It's like, say, the admission fee!
    [IMG] Got you again!!!!
As I said in my first post, more recliner seats are on the way.
    I love those speakers (really)!
I built this room to listen to (and watch) 50% music and 50% DVD.
For the moment (until i've got my projector) I'm afraid this proportion is 100% music ;-)
It's my favorite place in the entire house.
    Thanks again!

For the screen I don't know yet.
For the projector I'm thinking at Sanyo PLV-60 (because 16:9) or Infocus LP-350. I don't have try any of them. I have tried a compaq MP-1800 and an Epson Powerlite 7200 (in use at my office). It's almost what I want... (unless not bright enough IMHO). Anyway I have much time in my hands before my buy! BTW, please apologize my english [IMG].

    Hi again,
    [IMG]
No Neil, I don't have any sound rebounding off the floor. The only thing that «border» me :rolleyes [IMG] oh not that much!) was the lack of «feeling bass». I «heard» good bass but I don't «feel» it(or so!). But, like my Ht was built in my basement I expecting that! Otherwise, to me, the sound was as good as the look. Tony the Tiger will say: Grrrrrrrrrrreeeeeaaaaaattt! [IMG]

I am thinking of getting the Sanyo too. Jeff McNeal, that runs the thebigpicture.com, has a great discussion forum on this very projector that you may want to check out. Please he has review that he has done himself with pictures.
