First the bad news. It's been pushed back til the 8th of October, and no 24/192 stereo tracks.
    The good:
24/96 stereo, 24/96 5.1, DD 5.1, DTS 5.1, on-screen lyrics as well as photos from the original recording session w/pictures taken by Roger and Martyn Dean, re-mix done by Tim Weidner (??) supervised and approved by no other than Mr. Squire himself. [IMG]

Specs looks good on this disc. I am happy Warner is giving us both Hi-Res MCH and Stereo tracks on their new releases. It would be nice to have a Hi-Res stereo track that plays on normal DVD players, but then again this is DVD-Audio.

But there are 96/24 CDs out there (not many, I think the Chesky label).

Just have to go analog I guess.

Be interesting to compare to the remastered CD version.

    Michael,
The 24/96 2.0 track will most likely get downsampled to 16/48 for the digital out (i.e both downsampled and bit-depth reduced). That is what I believe happens on my Crowded House disc with the digital copy protection. I will confirm this evening and post an update if I was wrong. Either way, the main point is that if the 24/96 2.0 is on the disc, you will have to use the DACs on your DVD player to take full advantage of the high resolution signal.
    Regards,
